UPCOMING EVENTS 2024 TOUR OF OLD CAPE COD Take a ride down beautiful Route 6A to visit historic sites of Old Cape Cod Our day will begin at Thacher Hall on picturesque Route 6A in Yarmouth Port. Constructed in 1870, it is one of the finest examples of American gothic architecture in New England. Next we’ll drive a few miles west to Sturgis Library in Barnstable. Constructed in 1644, it hails as the oldest building to house a public library in the US and is one of the oldest houses on Cape Cod. Afterwards, we’ll relax and enjoy a delicious meal at The Dolphin Restaurant in Barnstable, a 70-year-old continuously run restaurant started by the owner's grandparents. Enjoyed on Thursday March 21st Ladies began with a docent-led tour of the beautiful Cape Cod Museum of Art (CCMOA), and were greeted by Benton Jones, the Executive Director. The museum's outstanding collection certainly enchanted and inspired! The group then headed across the street to enjoy a delicious lunch at the ever popular Scargo Cafe. ********************************************
Thirty gals met on Wednesday February 7th 2024 in Chatham for a delicious and informative day that included an enlightening talk by the Fishermen's Alliance highlighting their Small Boats/Big Ideas mission. Following that, everyone enjoyed a tasty lunch at Mac's Chatham Fish and Lobster along with an oyster shucking demo! ************************************ An Annual Favorite
